RUNNING FOR Vice President

    Rizalito Yap David (born on January 12, 1963, in Manila) is a politician.

    David lost in his previous bids for a Senate seat in 2010 and 2013. He also filed his candidacy for president in 2016, but he did not make it to the final list of candidates.

    David is most known for petitioning the Senate Electoral Tribunal to remove Grace Poe from her senatorial seat in 2015 on the grounds that it was impossible to prove that Poe was a natural-born citizen. He also petitioned for the Comelec to cancel Rodrigo Duterte’s certificate of candidacy for president that same year.
